Birth:
Edgar was born on September 8th, 1977 in Leidschendam, The Netherlands.

Personal life:
He is in a relationship with Anoek van Nunen. Together they have a daughter called Julia (born June 15th,  2010). Edgar Wurfbain lives in The Hague with his family.

Production Company:
In 2001, Wurfbain founded his own production company, Starsound Productions, together with Dennis de Rijk. Starsound Productions develops and produces various kinds of media productions for a wide range of clients, both national and international.

Vegan:
Edgar stopped eating meat at the age of eleven. He has had a passion for nature ever since he was a child. In 2010 he was elected the "Most Sexy Vegetarian" by the Wakker Dier Foundation.

Voice behind the character:
For a short period, Edgar was the voice behind Pardoes, the mascot of Netherland’s largest theme park, The Efteling. He provided voiceovers for a computer game, several songs and fairy tales. Together with Dutch actress Lieke van Lexmond, he also did the voiceovers for the Efteling Winter Show.

Multimedia soap:
Together with Winston Gerschtanowitz, Froukje de Both, Hugo Metsers, Arie Boomsma and Ellemiek Vermolen Edgar played one of the maincharacters in 'Jong Zuid', the first multimedia soap initiated by MSN en Media Republic.

Videoclips:
Edgar played in several musicvideos of artists like Don Diablo, van Dik hout, Rosemary's Sons en Marieke van Ginniken.

Commercials:
At the age of 12 he acted in his first international commercial for Mc Donalds. Other TV commercials followed for the Postbank, KPN and Wrigleys chewing gum.

Soaps:
Edgar has played in all three Dutch soap series. Goudkust (1996-1999), Goede Tijden Slechte Tijden (2001) and Onderweg naar Morgen (2005). Edgar has been the only Dutch actor to appear in all three soaps series.

TV series:
Other series he has had leading roles or guest appearances in are Costa!, Blauw Blauw, Hij & Julia, Wat zou je doen?, Bon Bini Beach, and Jong Zuid.

Films:
Films on his resume are het Glinsterende Panter, Volle Maan and Emergency Exit.
